Robbie Williams and Gary Barlow re-unite for interview and new song

Robbie Williams has revealed he almost didn't turn up for last year's Take That reunion in LA because of the things he said about Gary Barlow in the years since his departure.

"I'd said some nasty things about Gaz. What do I do if I go in, is he harbouring anything? So the missus pushed me through the door" the singer told Radio 1's Chris Moyles [via BBC Newsbeat]. As it turned out Williams found the experience "very exciting, very liberating."

During the interview, their first together in 15 years, Williams and Gary Barlow discussed getting back together and overcoming obstacles from their past. The interview comes as the pair release the video for a duet -- 'Shame' -- for Williams' forthcoming best-of, which you can see after the jump.

Williams explained: "We had that big chat and the most amazing thing happened at the end of it, we both said sorry to each other and we both meant it. That's all we needed. It just lifted so much off my shoulders that I didn't know was still there."

As for Barlow, it was a similar experience, "All these things had been built up for so long, they just sounded stupid as they were coming out. We just needed to sit opposite each other and talk. I must say I had a good sleep after that."

Williams joked: "It's so many rehabs ago. There's so much vodka underneath the bridge."

In terms of the band's future Barlow said, "This is our 20th year for all of us this year. So to do a one-off album, and maybe a one-off tour would be a great thing this year. We all agreed that unless it was a great record we wouldn't even go there and we've got a great record."

He added, "I think once we've done that Rob will go back to being Rob and we'll go back to being a four, I think it'll resume to how it was."

Josie walks out of the Big Brother

It was always going to be tough going back into the house but Ultimate Big Brother proved too much for recent winner Josie.

The West Country lass had been in tears in the Diary Room yesterday and this afternoon she took the John James route to freedom... via the fire exit.

In a strange twist of fate, as she escaped through the camera runs, she happened to bump into John James in the car park.

The Aussie had been visiting the area to record a message for the Bristolian in an attempt to persuade her to stay.

With her microphone still on, Josie was heard saying "thank god you were here when I came out!", to which John James replied "you're so stupid! I love you so much!"

The pair kissed and Josie apologised to the producers of the show, saying: "I'm so sorry guys.

"They're all really nice people don't get me wrong, I'm normal I'm not a celebrity I'm not like that.

"I couldn't handle it no more."

There is no news yet on whether Josie will be persuaded to return to the house.

But there will be more surprises for the ultimate housemates this week because on Friday, Victor Ebuwa and Michelle Bass from BB5 will return... to the bedsit.

Just as Emma and Michelle had during the fifth series, Victor and Michelle will be able to watch the house goings on and either punish or reward those they believe deserve it.

In Big Brother 5, it resulted in the infamous fight night... let's just hope there's not a repeat performance.
